Section 21
Physical evidence to be examined

(1) Blood, semen, hair or any other part of the body, hand, weapon or thing or DNA of the person concerned by the nature of any offence. or any other thing, if it is believed that the evidence related to the crime may be available to find the culprit, the investigating officer shall send such blood, semen, hair or any part of the body, weapon or object or DNA to the government doctor or a recognized laboratory. Or material in electronic form or any other physical evidence can be tested. But if a woman's body part needs to be examined, it should be done by a female doctor if available, and if such a doctor is not available, it should be done by a male doctor.
(2) The concerned person shall assist the investigating officer in providing samples of blood, semen, hair or organs, weapons or objects required for testing according to sub-section (1).
(3) The report of the test conducted according to sub-section (1) shall be prepared by the concerned physician or laboratory.
